I'm back to work! Yeah so United won Chelsea yesterday in the fight for the Community Shield at Wembley. Yay!! Edwin van der Sar was the man... Big ups my fellow United suppoters and OUCH you blues, try again! Our next challenge: Glentoran FC on the 8th... Let's give it all we've got!
ONE UNITED!

This PHCN sef.....
So it's possible to have almost constant power supply in Nigeria? Who would have thought. Can someone please tell me why PHCN always supplies light in Lagos these days? I say Lagos cos I don't know for sure about the other states of the Federation but everywhere I go, everyone says the same thing: There's amost always light - at least 70% of the time. I am scared cos I think they're going to get ugly real soon...some one tell me to be more optimistic cos I fear I'm being a pessimist

Who gave the order?
What's up with the fashion police? Who appointed anyone Lord over outfits Lagosians wear? I've been hearing this "confirmed" rumor that people are being picked up because of their attire. Guys with dread locks and earrings on are being arrested, as well as ladies who show off more than they care to see..... I want to know if anyone can confirm what I heard on the radio today, that they take these people they arrest to an undisclosed location in Lagos and force them to Learn a trade...I'm concerned because we have serious security issues in Lagos with Armed men controlling a lot of places in the Lagos Metropolis, e.g, Akpongbon Bridge, Lekki- Ajah Expressway, Oshodi Expressway, Orile -Mile 12 Route, etc and nothing is being done about this... Pray tell, is fashion the most pressing of our issues? Tell me, WHO GAVE THE ORDER?

Big Brother Africa
BBA is back with the second edition... it features 12 people, 6 guys, 6 gals from 12 different countries in Africa: Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe..
Nigerian Ofunneka is repping for 9ja... I watched it for a bit yesterday and so fa? I'm not so impressed, well lets just watch and see shall we?

Take care....

Any team but Chelsea!
I'm glad Man U. won.

PHCN? They said there'd be light by AUgust. We're in it.

Big Brother Police...I don't understand the idiocy behind this rubbish they're doing, arresting people for being themselves.

How are you, moni?

And the reds keep marching on on on!

Great game yesterday. As I told you I went to watch it in Wembley and the atmosphere was electric.

We should have beaten them by at least three goals but maybe we are saving that one for the season.

Hope you are doing well

moni,
did you hear about the person who died on that reality show...Isn't that sad? What really happened?

I don't have too much of a fight with ¢h€£$k¥ anymore, looks like last season helped diminish their arrogance a bit..

I'm hearing about the NEPA thing too. LOL at how everyone is wondering what they have done wrong to deserve constant power supply...

Fasola gave the order. As us usual with our people we are chasing shadows and ignoring the substance...

Big Brother? My opinions on that travesty are too well documented...

Welcome back to work my dear.

Aijay said...

Heard about the 'fashion police' too.
Beats me!!

exschoolnerd said...

Up man united!!!!

Meanwhile, as per NEPA....a friend of mine says he uses NEPA as support for his generator...lol..

about arresting people for indecent dressing...it is so true!!! and it is so ridiculous.

about BBA check my blog!!!!!

BBA 2 is back?!?!?! Hooray!!! I enjoyed watching Tapuwa and Gaetano and other guys especially the shower sessions. I'm a bad girl now? LOL!! I'm off to their website now.

Yeah Right so u won a charity cup - whats the big deal? The season has just begun - we shall see who laughs last. LOL!!

nYEMONI, NYEMONI, NYEMONI! How many times did I call your name?

I asked you to come back to the blog and report about this 'indecency' nonesense and you didn't. eh? Thank God I stopped by your blog to see what you wrote. So they are taking the people they arrest to learn a trade? What absolute rubbish!!!! They are even carting off dreadheads? Nonsense and ingredients!!! Let those police people not find something better to do with all that free time they apparently have.

As for PHCN, my mother in Abuja has made the same comment. Her area (Lugbe) has been receiving constant power. Make una thank God say PHCN no dey hold una powa again, oh! I was tired of hearing my mother complain that her egusi soup was spoiling in her fridge on account of NEPA.

Take care!

As for PHCN: am terribly superstitious, Nyemoni. If we say they are tating a good trend it may all turn bad at once..

BBA: I lent money to a friend of mine, who said he was off to Lag. I wa s happy with him cos he said He was representing Nigeria

What happened??

AS for the Fashion Police... I really dont believe we have attained such level of madness in this Country.. Ok who gave the order... I dont want to think of it.. I wil have a fit

Nice post and nIce victory on sunday...

WHATS UP WITH ARRESTING PEOPLE? I HEARD ON THE RADIO HERE THAT IN ONE STATE, I AM NOT SURE WHICH ONE IT IS. HOWEVER YOUNG MEN WERE TO BE ARRESTED IF THE WORE THEIR PANTS SAGGY. HMMM THAT IS A LOT OF ARRESTING TO DO.

Original Mgbeke (Part 2) said...

That order about the attire is just plain BULLSHIT.
Last time I was in PH., I heard that Mary Odili was cracking down on girls who dress indecently. I can see that some people are just very jobless.

princesa said...

This Fashion police thing just goes to show how jobless the government are! I mean of all this to give priority to!!
They no see all the bad bad roads wey full everywhere cos of the rains go repair?

My mum no let me rest again o! Anytime am dressing to leave the house, she keeps reminding me about 'Fashola's people o!'

As for PHCN, lets just wait and see how long this streak lasts.

@ Chxta, thank you dear... Na wah o! Fashola gave the order? For what? Na wah for them o! While I am not a fan of people dressing to overtly arttract others, I believe it's 100% a personal decision and no one should arrese people who do so... but arresting people for having tattoos, dreadlocks, wearing more than one pair of earrings in the case of females and wearing earrings for men is so so silly! Big bother to me is silly as well, but it could be entertaining too!

@ aijay...I seriously have no more words for them o!

@ exchoolnerd...I have posted an epistle on the comments section of your BBA post so there! lol at using PHCN as back up for your friends gen!

@ Calabargal, No, you are not a bad girl...hahaha..Yes O! It's now only list a teensy weensy Charity cup abi? Like say na una win eh! Na wah for you o! :-)

@ solomonsydelle, I shall be there asap, abeg no vex o!

@ jaja, Na wah for your friend o!! Abeg call his gsm sharp sharp and get your pepper fast! Yes o! We have attained that level of madness in Naija o! A typical case of putting the cart before the horse.

@ set..the reasons are many and crazy indeed... these people are seriously jobless..

@ shopaholic...lol..she was? how amusing! Abeg I no fit laff o!

@ princesa..lets just hope it lasts forever...(wishful thinking abi? Abeg no let Fashola's people catch you o!

@ confessions of a moody crab, no wahala, and Big UP Reds!!! LOL

@ kel, yeah, there's a word like that, methinks... You'll never walk alone has NEVER been the official United anthem...na wah for you o! Abi na your husband you dey follow enter United? Talk true now o! (BTW, my hubby's a staunch Blue...that's whay I hate em so much!) Any way, United's anthems are more in line with Glory, Gory man United or U-N-I-T-E-D...You'll never walk alone is attributed mostly to Liverpool..just a lil bit of info fyi sha!

Football: where the players cute?

PHCN: they will supply in Lagos cos that is where the hired killers that will be sent to sort them out if they don't reside.

FASHION KILLERS: Nigeria is now filled with hypocritical, priority-misplaced individuals. Lagos state governor is an Agbaya. I wish someone could tell me where I could find his mistresses and illegitimate children...
